RNIS and Charlie and co invited me and I thank them for the invite.

Charlie and Co is a place in Emporium and they just opened in May. This place was a hit with Sydney bloggers hence they decided to come to Melbourne.

We really enjoyed their friendly service

This December they are participating in the advent calendar challenge where they have a few freebies for their loyal Facebook fans.


RNIS went for the veggie burger and I went for the true aussie burger which I enjoyed. You can read about their review here. We also shared some sides such as the coleslaw and onion rings which were just magnificent.

I remembered that RNIS has been to try their truffle fries and enjoyed it a lot.

As a part of my food experience. Grill’d is in Southern Cross station where the old Great Southern Railway ticket box used to be. It is a chain store.   In the past six months that they have been opened there have been many promotions. I can remember the free slushy days to promote their Virgin Mary’s (by the way they have alcohol for all the footy fans wanting to enjoy a beer afterwards) I had a buy one burger get one free voucher and there was an AFL game that day (St Kilda vs GWS Giants at Etihad) so I wanted to check this place out. I have walked by this clean and lovely place many times but had not gone in. All those times was when I was rushing to go home on the train. Like other Grill’ds this one had all the same burgers. TGI Fridays

TGI Fridays is a chain store which serves American food and drinks. I have been to the one in Melbourne and South Yarra and both have equally just as good service. The service there is very friendly and I remembered last time where we talked about the Football. It was during the finals that I went with RNIS. We had heaps of fun arguing over the footy teams. I go for the Cats and Newintstudents goes for the Bombers. The place is always noisy and people love just drinking there. They do happy hour there but we don't drink. I have always enjoyed TGI Fridays for their Jack Daniel's ribs and brownie. At the last one I had their burgers and RNIS had a veggie burger. The food was alright. Here they have lunch specials which includes a drink for $9.95, $14.95 for two courses and $19.95 for three courses. The food is always big and very tasty. And their food always come out fast.
