I was invited to dine here with RNIS and by Zilla and Brook.


Hooked is in Hawthorn on Glenferrie Road near Swinburne Uni. They are a seafood shop which was popular in Brunswick st Fitzroy and now they have opened shop in Hawthorn.



On the Friday night that we went it was steady. The food that we tried was really good. We tried many seafood dishes such as Salt and Pepper Calamari, Squid, Fish Bites and Slaw and other things.

Their aim is to be healthy and that is what they did. Their food was not too oily and was well balanced.

Do come and try it for yourself and you'll love the freshness of the food.

As a part of my food experience. Grill’d is in Southern Cross station where the old Great Southern Railway ticket box used to be. It is a chain store.   In the past six months that they have been opened there have been many promotions. I can remember the free slushy days to promote their Virgin Mary’s (by the way they have alcohol for all the footy fans wanting to enjoy a beer afterwards) I had a buy one burger get one free voucher and there was an AFL game that day (St Kilda vs GWS Giants at Etihad) so I wanted to check this place out. I have walked by this clean and lovely place many times but had not gone in. All those times was when I was rushing to go home on the train. Like other Grill’ds this one had all the same burgers. TGI Fridays

TGI Fridays is a chain store which serves American food and drinks. I have been to the one in Melbourne and South Yarra and both have equally just as good service. The service there is very friendly and I remembered last time where we talked about the Football. It was during the finals that I went with RNIS. We had heaps of fun arguing over the footy teams. I go for the Cats and Newintstudents goes for the Bombers. The place is always noisy and people love just drinking there. They do happy hour there but we don't drink. I have always enjoyed TGI Fridays for their Jack Daniel's ribs and brownie. At the last one I had their burgers and RNIS had a veggie burger. The food was alright. Here they have lunch specials which includes a drink for $9.95, $14.95 for two courses and $19.95 for three courses. The food is always big and very tasty. And their food always come out fast.
